Calender Widget For Nokia N97 and N97 Mini

Calendar widget a new application for Nokia N97 and N97 mini is now available. It behaves similar to A?a??A?today viewA?a??A? from MS Outlook and provide a quick overview of the upcomming events. Four events will be shown on the homescreen and on scrolling down more events can be found.
The main requirement of the application is Symbian S60 5th Edition mobile phone. The application is made specifically for Nokia N97 and N97 mini. The application is a freeware.

Some of the features of Calendar widget are summarized below:
A?a??A? It has homescreen support showing upcomming events and todo with scrolling option
A?a??A? It shows a fullscreen view with a list of upcomming events and todo.
A?a??A? It has one icon per event type.
A?a??A? The application is customizeable through a self-explaining settings page.
A?a??A? It has support for multiple languages.

The improvements of Calendar Widget over previous versions are:
A?a??A? Changed event icons.
A?a??A? Today events are now marked by a small red dot in the lower right corner.
A?a??A? It has changed application icon.
A?a??A? The display due date for ToDo using the Homescreen date format from settings menu.
A?a??A? Code cleanup.
A?a??A? JavaScript and CSS compression in deployment.
A?a??A? Partly use Platform Services 2.0 API.
A?a??A? Only use IAppManager if not build-in calendar is used. This results in one less warning message if build-in is used.
A?a??A? Always use “checked” image for ToDo’s until nokia fixes bug, so that the ToDo’s will actually look like ToDo’s
A?a??A? Added setting for over due ToDo’s
A?a??A? Added setting if to use background in Homescreen
