Our ears tend to fall ineluctably upon a word “hacking” because of the malignity that has been attached with this word for ages. But i have a slightly different approach. According to me, that much amount of hacking is acceptable that is not causing any solemn damage or loss to others. So, here are some tricks and tweaks that you can apply to your Nokia Mobile Phone to get the best out of your phone.

Some general codes :

*#06# : For checking the International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI Number)

*#0000# or *#9999# : Displays your phones software version
1st Line : Software Version
2nd Line : Software Release Date
3rd Line : Compression Type

*#92702689# : Displays -
1.Serial Number
2.Date Made
3.Purchase Date
4.Date of last repair (0000 for no repairs)
5.Transfer User Data

*3370# : Activate Enhanced Full Rate Codec (EFR)
This will make the best sound quality out of your phone but talk time will be reduced by approx 5%

#3370# : Deactivate Enhanced Full Rate Codec (EFR)

*#4720# : Activate Half Rate Codec
Doing this will make your phone use a lower quality sound but you should gain approx 30% more Talk Time

*#4720# : Deactivate Half Rate Codec
The above feature will be deactivated

*#746025625# : Displays the SIM Clock status, if your phone supports this power saving feature “SIM Clock Stop Allowed”, it means you will get the best standby time possible

Some codes that are locked by service providers :

#pw+1234567890+1# : Provider Lock Status (use the “*” button to obtain the “p,w” and “+” symbols)

#pw+1234567890+2# : Network Lock Status (use the “*” button to obtain the “p,w” and “+” symbols)

#pw+1234567890+3# : Country Lock Status (use the “*” button to obtain the “p,w” and “+” symbols)

#pw+1234567890+4# : SIM Card Lock Status (use the “*” button to obtain the “p,w” and “+” symbols)

Some codes to reset your phone :

*#73# : Reset phone timers and game scores

*#7760# : Manufactures code

*#7780# : Restore factory settings

*#94870345123456789# : Deactivate the PWM-Mem

12345 : This is the default security code
press and hold #
Lets you switch between lines – Line 1 and Line 2

Some codes regarding call diverting/waiting etc.

*#21# : Allows you to check the number that “All Calls” are diverted to

*#2640# : Displays security code in use

*#30# : Lets you see the private number

*#43# : Allows you to check the “Call Waiting” status of your phone.

*#61# : Allows you to check the number that “On No Reply” calls are diverted to

*#62# : Allows you to check the number that “Divert If Unreachable (no service)” calls are diverted to

*#67# : Allows you to check the number that “On Busy Calls” are diverted to

**21*number# : Turn on “All Calls” diverting to the phone number entered

**61*number# : Turn on “No Reply” diverting to the phone number entered

**67*number# : Turn on “On Busy” diverting to the phone number entered

NOTE :

All of these codes may not work for your particular model and do not forget to make backup of everything before trying these codes.

So try them out and take your mobile phone(Nokia) experience to the next level.

Some times it happens that you forgot the password of your memory card and you have lots of your important data in your phone.

So there are two types of methods for recovering the password of your memory card with the help of nokia phone.

For Nokia s60 1st and 2nd edition phones.

1. First Install FExplorer in your phone memory.

2. Got to drive C: , you will find a file called mmcstore

3. Send it to your pc directly and open it in notepad or rename the file.

4. At the end of the file you will find your password.

For Nokia S60 3rd Phones, Nokia N-Series and Nokia E-Series

There is almost no way yet known to hack the memory card password in case of these types of phone but there is a way to do it some of the s60 3rd edition phones and almost all the E-series phones.

The remote lock option in E-Series phone allws you to unlock your phone by sending a sms.

The only thing you have to do is to activate this feature by going to Tools | Settings | Security | Phone and SIM | Allow remote lock menu. The password of your memory card will be your remote lock message.

So you have to just send a sms containing your remote lock message that will automatically change your memory card passsword.

If you have any queries in following the above procedure leave a comment here.

So today i am going to post the way through which you can unlock your nokia phone

There are three ways through which you can unloack your nokia phone without knowing the security code.

Method 1. Try the default security code i.e 12345 for all nokia phones.

Method 2. Download the java software from here and install it on nokia java based symbian phone.
