It is basically a sidebar gadget for vista which sits in your vista sidebar and fetches all the messages you receive on your nokia mobile phone ( as shown in the image below).

Nokia Text Messenger comes in two different sizes. If you want to place the application in your Windows Sidebar, you can opt for Nokia Text Messenger in a smaller size.

The sidebar gadget lets you view three text messages at a time.

Follow the steps to send the sms via your phone with the help of nokia pc suite

1. Install the Nokia PC suite from the cd which you got with your nokia phone at the time of purchase.

2. After getting connected with nokia pc suite via Bluetooth or through usb cable.

3. Open Nokia phone browser in My Computer.

4. Click on the which has a tooltip as create a new text message in the vertical sidebar as shown in the image below.

5. Nokia Text Message Editor will open up in which you can enter the number and type your message and (as shown in the image below).

6. After typing click on File>>Send to send the message.

But this problem may not occur every time, so in order to avoid this connectivity problem you can configure your phone to be automatically connected to your nokia pc suite installed at your computer.

Follow the steps given below for the automatic connection your nokia phone to pc suite:

1. First activate or switch on the bluetooth on your mobile phone.

2. Now start your pc suite at your computer with bluetooth dongle connected at the usb port.

3. In nokia pc suite click on manage connections and connect your phone.

4. After connecting set your computer as authorized connection or in other words you can set allow auto connection no confirmation option as yes.

For Example: Nokia 5300 (s40)

1. Open bluetooth menu via settings>>connectivity>>paired devices

2. Click options and select pair a new device.

3. Search for your computer and select it and go to options>>Auto-conn., no conf. now select yes.

4. Exit from bluetooth options and you are done.

Next time when you open nokia pc suite and switch on bluetooth on your nokia phone they will get automatically connected in seconds.

Still if you are not able to configure your nokia phone for automatic connection leave your comments with your phone model.        

Latter is the case is with me as I want to change my mobile phone from Nokia 6600 to Nokia 5310. So ,now for transferring the contacts from nokia 6600 to nokia 5310 I searched almost every method and software but, still none of the software work for me as both of the above phones have a different base operating system.

But finally I had to use one the worst ways out for transferring contacts i.e using a sim card for storing the contacts.

A normal sim card can hold around 250 contacts so depending on the number of contacts you may need one or two sim card.

In order to transfer the contacts follow the process below 

1. Go to your phone contacts and copy all the contacts to sim card.

2. If your contacts are greater than the memory size of the sim card ,first check upto which contact it got transferred to sim card

3. now insert the sim card in the new s40 phone and copy all the contacts from sim card to phone memory.

4. Repeat the steps until you are able to transfer all the contacts.

5. I know this process is really cumbersome but unfortunately this is the only way out.

But nothing comes for completely free so there is a catch in all of them ranging from the cost of the gprs involved , or the ads which got embedded in the sms it self.

To register your mobile phone with Google Calendar, you need to obtain a verification code by following these steps:

1. Click on “Settings” at the top of any Google Calendar page, then select the “Mobile Setup” tab.
2. Select your country from the “Country” drop-down menu.
3. In the “Phone number” field, enter your phone number.
4. Select your carrier from the drop-down menu, if applicable. However, if the “See Help Center for supported providers” link is displayed, please check to see if your provider is supported before requesting your verification code.
5. If your carrier is supported, click on the “Send Verification Code” button and wait for a text message to be sent to your phone.
6. Once you receive this message, enter the code you received in your text message into the “Verification code” box and click on the “Finish setup” button.
