I have been getting lots of mails and questions about how to configure, get free gprs settings for different subscribers every day.
I have already posted so many ways on how to get gprs settings when you have any Nokia or a Sony Ericson’s phone irrespective of any service provider you have,check it here.
But still you have other company mobile like of Samsung ,Htc Touch,Lg and others then check out this post on how get the free gprs settings here.
Note: Still your purpose is not solved and you are not able to configure gprs on your mobile phone for free so you can still manually configure free gprs on your mobile device by manual gprs settings given below for almost every subscriber and their service and if i have missed any one of them do let me know.

To all the readers, all these settings are now quite old, So I m not sure which one works and which one does not, you will need to try at your own end on your mobile phone to confirm. I will make a new post with all the new working settings and will add a link here

to activate your cellphone for gprs ,pl sms your phone make space model number like nokia 6070 etc then sms to 8355 , inturn you will get three msges one for wap , one for gprs and one for mms say yes and save now your mobile is activated togprs mms and wap ,, then you type gprspre and sms to 3733 to activate bsnl gprs try this !!!!!!!!!!

how to access free airtel gprs ?
Requirements:
You require a PC or a Laptop and Serial/USB cable OR Infrared Device OR Bluetooth dongle in order to first connect your phone with your computer.
Step By Step Procedure:
1)First Activate Airtel Live!( It is FREE).
2) Create TWO Airtel gprs data accounts in your mobile and set the
FIRST one as the active profile.
3)Connect your phone with your connectivity cable using blutooth dongle or usb/serial cable.
4) Go to control panel and create a new dial up connection.
Connection Device : Your mobile’s modem
ISP Name : Anything you want to enter.
Phone Number : Your mobile number.
Username: blank
Password: blank
5) Now setup your browser at your pc to use the proxy
100.1.200.99 and port 8080.
6) Connect to the dial-up account.
7) Try on your mobile and access any site. You will get “Access
Denied…”. Keep the mobile down.
8 ) On the PC ( or Laptop) open your browser, enter any address ,
press ENTER and WAIT for some minutes.
9) That’s it done ! now you can open any page on your pc for free.

hi dear friends you all want a free internet setting but i would like to tell you that the above setting is only setting which is provided by the airtel , hutch, idea, these are the original setting in this page only the original setting is given which has no link with the free internet . you can also get the setting from the customer care for free.

I’m getting a call from my PC to my mobile while i use a Dial-Up connection bt the call ends automatically with in 30secs. bsnl is the WORST mobile service provider as far as gprs is concerned they dont have gprs settings and they simply say that u will recieve a sms in 15 to 20 mins

less than 3.oo rs ok or you wait for low balance like 3.00 0r below ok then you send Gprs7 to 56789 and then MO to 2567. three messages will come in that third message settings will come. save it
and then yours balance is comes like last call cost rs.75 but your balance is goes down to -30.00 rs. now you recharge your mobile. then enjoy but 7 days pack original rate is rs.75 but this tricks gives you saving rs 45.00

been using gprs on bsnl network in north india on my nokia 6270,….sucessfully since 2 years. never had any prob…except for occasional network probs. but now switched to nokia 3600 slide….i can access net by connecting the phone to my laptop…but on my phone when i try to access any wap site,…it says packet data connection not available!!!!!
n surprisingly i didnt find any configuration setting which ask to choose amoung bsnl gprs, bsnl wap etc. the only profile i found to choose is default,…and bsnl-north!!!
when i send msg for settings again…on 8355,…settings actually came,..but without prompting it got saved,…n i got a notification sms confirming settings.
to use gprs on move is handy….though its more comfortable on lap top. but mms,..and few games loads best by mobile. wanna use flickr,…and yahho go on mobile….but its not connecting…!!!! whats the solution,…plz help

This is yuvi from chennai.. am using airtel prepaid for many years and trying for free internet via pc.. am using nokia 3230.. I hav searched many hack sites for this but everything is just making fool..
Now i hav thinked very deeply how to use internet for paying minimum amount and my thought gav an idea that the following steps:-
This is 100% working i dont knw whether u all would comes try over this idea…
1. Make ur minimum balnce in airtel for just Rs.1/-
2. Activate airtel live is free no probs..
3. Send GPRS7 to 56789 to activate internet for 7 days..(why am telin tis bcoz GPRS for 1 day will charg 20rs.. and for whole month means we hav to recharge for RC375 something.. But by my trick we can enjoy unlimited GPRS for 7 days at minimum charg of Rs.30/- instead of giving Rs.75/-)
4. Now u receiv msg as GPRS already activ.. switch off and switch on mobile and wait for a moment… you will receive information that last call cost Rs.75 and your balance is Rs. -30.00(minus 30)…
5. Now recharge for Rs.50… Then ur balnce will be deducted for that 30 rs and u will be having 12rs balnce in ur mobile …
6.Enjoy free internet for 7 days…

exactly i had done last year and used airtel gprs for minimum chrgs.
but now i m having vodafone conn unfortunately & i cant change it now.
but for u i m having an idea
by using Tshark browser a and simple settings for it u can use airtel gprs for free but only surfing u cant download with that.

HI…i rlly need help…i’ve used the airtel gprs setting on my htc touch P3450 phone for like 2 months…no problems at all…my msn and my email and net is all fine and was working on the phone. then all of a sudden i can connect ok but then all i can do is update my weather!!…when i click on sync, it recognises that there is a connection but then kinda sticks on synchronising folder lists. it doesnt move off that. after aaages it then sais synchronization failed. disconnected!…please help!!…can u send a reply to this address/ sily.sausageman@gmail.com anyone that can help thanks loads!!!!
