Yes , you can easily transfer any of your messages already residing in the phone memory causing your phone to process various operations at a slow speed due to the memory usage by the sms messages.
I have illustrated the entire procedure to move your sms messages in single with a four step below.
How to do it:
- Make sure that Messaging memory is set to Phone Memory (Messages -> Settings -> Other -> Memory -> Phone memory).
- With FExplorer, go to E:\System\Mail and delete the whole dir. Not just the content, the whole dir.
- Go to Messages -> Settings -> Other -> Memory and select “MMC”
- Now you will be prompted if you would like to copy the messages to your “new” location.

yo guys, u cn do evrythng with filemanger, jst go to E:/system/mail nd delete whole contents thr dnt leave any file, thn go to C:/system/mail n copy all mail directory .then cm to E:/system/mail me again paste thr all tht diretry u hav copied, nw ur all sms s on memory card. . ! 9822739977

exucse me plzzzzzzz anyone help me.. i’ve followed the steps.. and I moved all my sms’s from fone mem. to mmc. but when i try to access the sms’s, it does’nt open. I’m using Nokia N70.
