Opera launced a new version Opera Mini 5 for its world famous mobile web brower .It is a java based application and is compatible for all phones with JAVA Me support.Opera Mini 5 has bring with it stunning feature of tabbed browing and touchscreen navigation along with faster browsing speed in comparison to version 4.2 .
It uses Opera presto 2.2 rendering engine which makes it web page rendering capability comparable to opera 10 for PC along with javascript fuctions.With Opera mini 5 most of the web processing is done at the server and data is converted to OMBL reducing its size uptoby 90% to make surfing on mobile faster and cheaper.
The most awful feature introduced is tabbed browing integrated with all new stylish and user friendly interface makes it possible to access several sites simultaneuosly an java based phones .Its really crafty and much smoother than Safari brower of iphone .
At the screen you have larger icons for common utilities like back,forward,tab management ,refresh and other settings.
It also support the feature of speed dial and and password manager which allows secure password remember feature just like browers for desktops. Mini 5 also has touchscreen navigation for all touchscreen phones with improved keyboard which was missing in the previous versions.Now it supports inline text editing and copy-paste feature.

It all the features ,it still faces some exceptions to be still covered up.Opera Mini 5 does not support HTML 5 form and web fonts.SMIL animation and theblur effects on text-shadows are still missing.It still lags in compatibility with plug in like adobe flash and and java functions tha require asnchronous operation after page has been loaded. But with all the new features all integrated in a java based appliction its definetly the application for mobile net users.
